Help please, trouble installing JDM tails...
I got these OEM Honda JDM tails( non LED) and I am having trouble installing them. They fit correctly in place like my USDM tails, but since the actual position of the bulbs are different, I cant connect the 3 prong pigtail to the actual brake light bulb. This pigtail is not long enough to actually reach the connector to plug in....all three pigtail wires (brake light which is shortest, turn signal, and reverse light) were taped together with electrical tape. I thought I would be able to get more length out of the brake light pigtail by cutting the electrical tape which held the three and it did free it up some more but not enough still. The only other option I can think of at this time would be to cut the pigtail in half and splice some of the exact guage wire to give it another inch or so of length.....have any of you installed the JDM tails on a 2012...or did any of you run into this problem on your GE's with the non- LED JDM tails....any help would be greatly appreciated

On my '09 I remember thinking that if that wire was any shorter I'd be out of luck (LED Depos). It's possible that the new models have cut a few pennies out of the equation, and shortened it since it did not need to reach the upper light. I think I even had to stretch mine a bit by pulling everything out of the bundle like you mentioned, and it was a tight fit still.

On the right hand side you need to pull the panel off and pull the two clips holding wiring to the body out. Then you have enough slack. Well for the old style ones I put in.

I actually only removed the access panel to the passenger side tail light. Then I removed the first clip inside the body...not the one at the very bottom. That is not needed. I actually cut the wire loom that held all three pigtails, I cut it about an inch. This gave me enough slack to work with the brake light pigtail. Once everything was installed, I wrapped electrical tape around the wire loom again and you cant tell I ever cut it to get more slack. It looks stock again. It definitely was a bitch compared to the drivers side. Also the bulb sockets are completely different from the JDM tail to the USDM tails. If anyone has any problem in the future, you can PM me and I will get back to you. I am on everyday, so I should get back to you shortly.

I actually got mine off of the classifieds on here. The seller said they were in mint condition and they pretty much were. Only a few minor swirls and surface scratches. I do body work and paint so I took some 3M 3000 grit sand paper I had laying around and wet sanded them. Then I buffed and polished them. They look absolutely brand new. You can pick up a 3M headlight restoration kit at your local parts store for around $20 I believe. I just used my materials that I use on paint jobs. I just saw a pair of non Led like mine on the classifieds yesterday for $140 shippd and they looked pretty nice. Here is what mine look like now...
