Hawk Quiet Slot Rotors and Ceramic Pads
Hey all
Coming up on 60K on my GE8, decided to Upgrade the brakes after upgrading my wheels. Stock Rotors look pretty plain Jane behind my Matte Motegi MR121s, so Purchased some Hawk Slotted Rotors and Akebono ProACT Ceramic Pads.
This should be my last mod for a while, so looking forward to the install. Anybody else have these on their fits? read positive reviews, but Fit Freak Opinions are the most valuable.

I did something similar with my GD but used EBC USR850 slotted rotors and Hawk Ceramic pads.
For me, I don't here any wind noise from my rotors and have very quiet and good feedback under braking in normal driving situations (as pads heat up, distance of course begin to reduce noticeably). Haven't really pushed them yet...
I will recommend that whenever you do swap out your rotors, use an impact screwdriver with the correct (wide shoulder, don't know their name though) phillips head bits to remove the two screws holding the rotor on the hub. If you use the narrow shoulder'd bit, you'll likely strip the head of the screws and will have to cut them out.
