Any of the Mugen accessories fit the 2013?

Hey, all.

I tried searching around here and on google but couldn't really find any answers, maybe people just aren't screwing with the 2013 yet.

I was just curious if any of the Mugen accessories fit the 2013. I was on the College Hills Honda webpage and most of the accessories were listed as 2009-2012. I wasn't sure if they genuinely didn't fit or if the website just wasn't up to date since there probably aren't as many 2013's on the road yet.

EDIT:
I'm clearly a retard. The accessories are listed (in fine print) as fitting 09-13. Disregard my moment of stupidity.

Just an FYI - all of them will fit besides the front lip and grille, since the 2012/2013 has a different bumper. However, the Mugen parts from the Fit Shuttle will fit on our bumper. They're just a bit harder / pricier to obtain.

Thanks man! That's good to know. I was thinking about picking up some of the Fit accessories because it was my understanding that they wouldn't void my warranty if done by the dealer. Was thinking about the short shift kit and the exhaust, but the exhaust is extremely pricey for an axle back.

However, I don't think i actually like the rear Mugen bumper that much more than the stock Fit Sport. It'd be nice to have something different and unique in my area but i don't know if i can justify the cost on something i might not like that much.

You can pretty much run any short shifter / exhaust without voiding the warranty. They're such small items that any "big" issue you could run into can't be blamed on them.

Don't get something just for the sake of being different, get it cause you actually like it. The only other option you have for the US rear bumper is the JDP, which is what I have:

That looks really nice man! It's subtle but it looks pretty sleek. I do really like the look of the little ridges on the stock bumper. It almost looks like a small "diffuser" Does yours actually come down further or is it just cut out more in the middle were the "diffuser" is on the stock bumper?

Do you have anything on the front or the side skirts?

Edit:
Looked at the image closer. I couldn't tell that there was a diffuser in your bumper at first until i pulled it up ont he JDP webpage.
I think i like that a lot more than the Mugen look.

Do you mind if I ask how much the JDP rear cost you? I was thinking about picking one up and possibly a few of their other items in a few months.

The rear was $250 picked up from JDP. I realized that the pictures I posted aren't great, these might be a bit better:

I have the JDP lip on the front as well, but I just took it off cause I went lower and I don't want to crack it:

Had it on my previous 09 as well:

Thanks man! Those look really great. I like that a lot more than the Mugen set up. I think I'm going to start with the rear end and then get one of their OEM carbon hoods and maybe the duckbill.

Pardon my fit ignorance but what is different about the bumper from 09-11 vs 12-13? I never really noticed anything exterior wise besides wheels being machined finish.

Edit I see it now the bumper and grille does have some subtle difference, now that I see them side by side I kind of like the 09-11 front end better.

Can u tell the front bumpers are different? With that goes the fog lights/housing, grill.

Everything else is the same.

Yea I see it, I still think the 09-11 front end looks better, it has more of a aggressive look and kind of reminds me of a ep civic.

I heard those carpets easily wear out, but they do look cool! Make everyone take their shoes off when you give them a ride and it should be good

Yeah i couldn't even consider paying the mark up for the Mugen carpets unless I was absolutely POSITIVE that they were much more durable that the regular OEM ones. I know on College Hills Honda they're like 100 dollars more than the floor mats that came with my Sport. My driver side mat is getting worn were my right heel sits. : (
