New 2013 Fit owner (newbie) needs advice

Hey peeps,
Just got a 2013 white fit sport. Love this car!!!
I put on the window visors, removed the emblemsand tinted the windows.
I want to use the ebich lowering springs with my stock shocks but Im not sure what size wheels and tires to get. I want the car to have a better stance and handel a bit better but dont want to rub or have issues.
I dont want to race the car just want a better look. can I run a bit wider rim and if so what size? what about wheel spacers? how hard are they to install?

Also... I was wondering if my car is a GE8? what other cool mods can I do to the car?
I like the mugen rear bumper spoiler and other stuff but im not sure if they will fit my 2013 sport. I cant find anything online for a 2013 honda fit sport

thanks in advance

2013 is a ge8, it is practically the same car as a 2012. The mugen will fit the rear but not the front.

I have a set of used eibachs if you're interested

get the swift springs.

you can do 17x7 ET45 front ET40 rear for a nice fitment using 205/45/17's. or 16x7's same offsets 205/50/16.

for a very aggressive stance you'll want to go lower and roll the fenders, use wider wheels and more aggressive offsets than above.

Swifts are best for handling, coilovers are best for looks. If you're going to go lowish you don't want to run more than 17x7 unless you're comfortable with a fender roll/pull. The problem is that if you go lower than Swifts (which are designed with your car's geometry in mind), you're going to compromise your handling. You can't have your cake and eat it too.

It all depends on what you want.

Extreme: 17x8, coilovers (w/ some mods), drastic fender roll/pull, - camber

Moderate: 17x7 lowish offset or 17.5 high offset, low springs (Eibach sportlines etc.) or basic coilovers, moderate fender roll/pull, -camber

Mild: 17x7 high offset +45 or above, Swifts, 195 tires

BTW: Just so you know the 2013 mostly just changed the front bumper (which is why the Mugen won't fit the front) most everything else should fit fine.

Did you seriously just suggest that springs are better than coilovers for improving handling? Wow.

Just keep in mind that you are going to make the ride pretty rough. I cant say for coil overs but Ive been in a car with eibachs and WOWWWW that gets old fast.

Maybe I wasn't clear. Of course a shock + spring combo (coilovers) will produce better results if done within the range of the cars optimal geometry. What I meant is most people use coilovers to slam a car...which does produce worse handling than Swifts because of the subsequently effed up geometry.

Thanks guys im a total rookie with offset? tire and rim sizes so for just a basic lowerd look with a bit wider stance is this how i should go?

17x7 wheels high offset +45 or above, Swift springs, 195 tires..
Do you have any recommendations for spacers for my stock wheels cause i cant afford the rims and tires yet? The car is new so i would love to just install the swift springs and progress swaybar and use my stock wheels and tires... the car only has 1000 miles on it so im not ready to buy new rims and tires yet.. Better yet can you send me a link to good wheel spacers that wont rub with my stock wheel and give me a better look with the swift springs? I dont mind paying for a solid spacer with studs on them.. do i HAVE TO CUT MY STOCK STUDS for use of spacers? Thanks again...
