T1r b pipe and power header

Has anyone installed the power header on the fit? Any tips or tricks? I'm still trying to get the stock b pipe detached from the cat since my bolts are seized up. Any help with either or motivation is appreciated!!

Lots of Liquid Wrench and or PB Blaster. Sometimes a little heat helps too, however be careful for fuel lines, electrical, or anything else that may be anywhere near where you use a torch.

2 years old and its already giving trouble? dang.....

I suggest PB Blaster. heat it up decent with a small torch CAREFULLY!

while its warm, spray PB Blaster on it. Dont get it hot, pb blaster is flammable!

let it soak for a minute or two, then add a tiny bit of heat, and spray again. this time tap it hard on the side with a hammer to make sure it really soaks into the threads. Spray again and wait for 15-20 minutes.

should come off decent. if not, you do have the option of drilling the bolts out and replacing with a higher grade that doesnt rust.

even after 100+ years of exhaust, you would think car makers would go to rust free bolts and such

Its most likely not seized, the factory manifold bolts are often compression-type bolts which have squished threads that prevents the nut from backing out with vibrations, it works somewhat like loctite but drags on the thread since the nut is factory deformed.

No such thing as a rust free bolt. If its in an environment with oxygen its gonna oxidize.
