T1R response header
T1R response header
I have been reading all the Weapon R header (deletes both cats) threads since I am interested in making a little more low and mid range power. There is only one problem, I kept reading The exhaust is raspy no matter what kind of set up you have, including stock. Why not run the T1R response header and bolt it up to the stock second cat, B pipe, axle back? From what i have read it is the first cat that is restrictive and the pipe design is less then desirable. Would the T1R header with out the second cat delete do much for power, and keep the rasp down since the second cat would still act as a resonator?

Here is the picture that got me thinking.. This is the weapon R though.

The Stock exhaust makes a 90 degree bend right into the cat, not smooth at all

I think I will be able to know the answer for this very soon
My T1R Header suppose to arrive today, and I plan to keep the second cat...
(probably do a high flow cat conversion)...
after that I need to do ceramic coating (the place told me it might took up to 2 weeks to do ceramic coating???),...
so hopefully I am able to install by the end of this month or early next year
