On my Fit the lights are not auto On-Off. How would this relay work if my lights are turned on or off manually?

My understanding is this relay delays the Off and Auto On at unlock. So I would just leave the lights on all the time and the relay would turn them off on? That would be cool if it worked this way.

 

I have auto lights but this modul I am saying works even if you haven't got auto lights,it has a little sensor to connect and put near the window.
I would like to know if somebody already installed it,you can find it simply on ebay.
