I have a Samsung Galaxy S and I cant seem to play Iheart app through the USB to the stereo. Am I able to do this or am I trying to do something I am not able to do?

 

I think your only options are a plain old USB flash drive or an iPod/iPhone. I've used both and they work, but none of my other smartphones will.

 

why don't u go through the aux port instead of the usb?

 

I have the Epic 4G (first of the Galaxy S series) and I have no problem playing Pandora through the AUX port although I have never tried the USB.

 

I have the s3. Works great through AUX. I recommend the Spotify app.

 

I have a iphone 5 and i stream Pandora, Tunein radio, you tube, basically anything that plays sound through the USB.

 

Sorry to bump an old thread - but how? I can't seem to get anything but the music app to work. I'd really like to be able to use Spotify in my car, and also Pandora.

That's weird, I had the opposite problem. When I had pandora on my phone they car would only play pandora and not let me listen to my music. I ended up just deleting the app. iTunes doesn't even work properly for me actually, very frustrating.
