Too much coolant?

I have a 2012 Fit. I took it in for an oil change yesterday, and when I got the car back, I noticed the mechanic also checked and gave me extra brake fluid and water in my coolant reservoir while he was at it.

He didn't see the MAX line halfway down the reservoir tank and filled it far past that.

If I recall correctly, this is a problem that usually fixes itself. If there is excess coolant, it will just overflow out of a spout (harmless to the car). I can't see where that happens on my Fit's reservoir tank. Can someone help point me to where it is (for peace of mind, really)? Or am I better of siphoning the extra coolant out?

Thanks!

You should be fine, car will not be hurt with extra coolant. If it really a problem to you, just take a 10mm & take off the tank & drain overflow coolant.

If the engine gets hot enough that it bleeds off coolant into the reserve tank it will bleed any access in the tank out the vent hose onto the ground.

Also, You may also have a couple air bubbles hiding here and there, so the coolant level will resettle lower in a few days of driving in itself too...Wait until then before doing anything
