USB stick format

Anyone know what file format the USB interface should be on this car?

I'm using FAT32, but for some reason every other file is unplayable, as if there's two versions of every song.

I have 11 songs on the USB, but it's showing as 22, and half are unplayable. I searched, but it seemed to be FAT32 consensus, so I'm not sure what the deal is. Thanks.

Depends on the size of the USB drive. Bigger ones need some special handling.

It's a 32GB Kingston Data Traveler 100G2. Thanks for any advice on it.

People are just jerks. It's scratches, but you know on a black Fit, they show up white and it's horrible. Weird, I think I made two threads too close together as I only see one now.

Anyway, I decided to just get an estimate and not drive myself crazy over it. It's not worth the stress.

FAT32 should be working fine. Biggest issue I've run into personally is audio formats. I think I have a 32g as well.

Did you copy the files to the USB using a Mac?
If so, FAT systems will show the hidden OSX files.
If you put the USB stick in a PC, you'd see files like:

._Song1
._Song2
._etc
Song1
Song2
etc

Weird, I use a Mac, and don't have any problems with unplayable files.

The thread that I went to when I was having this problem: https://www.fitfreak.net/forums/2nd-...h-drive-4.html

The steps I used are in my posts. I had a larger drive so not sure it was the same issue you are seeing. I think issue is formatting of a 64GB drive.

Not sure if that's the cause here, I've seen it with people who move other files from Macs to PCs via USB sticks so I thought I'd put it out there as a possibility.

Yes, actually, I did copy the files using a Mac. I'll investigate this a bit more. Thanks for the input.
