axle-back help!

hey guys

im trying to look for a other axle back, right now I am using a Greddy Ti-C and its a bit to loud. I want to get something quite. My set up is T1R header, T1R test pipe, T1R B-pipe, and the Greddy Ti-C.

hey,

I just got a Apexi N1 Evo axle back for my GE and its a lot quieter than I thought it would be. It kicks in at about 3k rpm and even at full throttle its not that loud. I dont have pipes swapped out and I was actually thinking about getting the T1R B-pipes. How are they? My current setup includes the N1 Evo and an Injen SRI.

You're basically running a straight pipe with no cat and a header, of course it's going to be loud. Did you try it with the silencer and putting the cat back on? That should quiet it down a little bit.

I think pretty much anything is going to be loudish with that setup except for putting the stock axle back on.

Yea.... It's not the axle back that is effecting the sound. The header you have removes a pre cat which acted like a muffler, the test pipe removed THE CAT which acted as a major muffler, and the B pipe you have is much larger than stock but at least I believe has a resonator.

On my friends car with JUST that B-pipe and the Ti-C, It has great tone and isn't that loud at all. Considering you have no good way to tune for the changes in flow from removing both cats... As Wanderer suggested I would just throw the OE cat back on for now and run the silencer in the exhaust. Then when they eventually release a FlashPro put the test pipe back on and see if you can make some power!

I've been running a Tanabe T70143A Medallion Touring I bought thru HondaFitness for my 2011 Sport. Very nice fit especially at the bumper. Took longer to get the car backed up on the ramps than it did to remove the old system and install the new.

Good tone and not a lot loader than stock. Not used to spending money on accessories but it makes it unique here in Dutch Country.
