Proud owner of a brand new 2013 Fit!
Hey everyone! My name's Tony. I just bought a 2013 Fit Sport in black last Tuesday after my 2006 Civic EX was totaled from someone rear ending me (don't text and drive, kids). Anyway, I love this new car, and am stoked to have already stumbled upon a community of owners and modders. I'm totally new to making my own upgrades to a car, but I think this will be fun. I already have a new armrest coming my way (seriously, why is that not a standard feature??).
Anyway, just thought I'd introduce myself. Sorry if this is totally the wrong place to do that - there's a lot of subforums around here! And is there a glossary somewhere of all the acronyms you guys use?

Welcome to the Fit! I don't think there's a glossary around, but I'm sure someone will translate if you ask.
Glad to hear you already ordered the arm rest. I've wanted one for three years and just haven't done it. It would at least make my right arm more comfortable. haha

Part of the fun is that there is a thread on the various nomenclature used to describe the models and slang of the site you just need to look around and find it. I seem to remember it's named just about like your question is worded.

Thanks everybody! Finally found the newbie forum and the slang post. Like I said, there's a ton of subforums around here.
I put in the armrest over the weekend. It was easy for the most part, but getting that bracket bolted into place below the e-brake cables was a pain in the ass. Really happy with how it turned out though!
