day 1- 40mpg

I just picked up 2010 fit sport a/t black.

I drove back 2hrs to PA and at 65-70mph, It showed 40.3 mpg..I'm not sure how accurate honda mpg computer is but that was more than I expected..

I usually keep my avg speed 70-85mph but I kept speed low because I felt that I was going 80mph when the speed showed only 70mph..well, it makes me drive little safer.
The paddles work fine...It reminded my old RDX..

hopefully I save lots of $$$ at the pump because I drive a lot...40k-50k /yr...

The real mpg on my 2011 Sport Fit with AT is usually about 1 mpg less than the computer.

I have an '09 Sport and it is usually ~4mpg less. Sounds like they might have increased the accuracy in the newer models.

Yes but it was just a software change that is available on 09's. Visit your honda dealer and ask for a "good will" repair as detailed under technical service bulletin 09-086 (link to copy). It's just a quick "reflash" of your car's engine control module. It makes no difference to actual mpg, just makes the display more accurate.

Yup,

After our reflash, the computer went from being 4mpg high to about 1-1.5mpg high. It's weird but if I stop at the first click, it is very accurate, but any time I round up to the next dollar, it's about 1mpg high (even if I round up on sequential fill-ups)

Santa Fe NM @ 7000ft and OKC @ 1,295ft. Your tank should've filled itself.
