Lowish MPGs: tell me if this is normal

Hi, although it's probably fine, I just wanted to share my avg MPG on my used Fit to see if what I'm getting is normal, or if I have an under-performing car. Let me know what you think. (Also, I have a steady foot, not a driving newb)

'07 Fit Sport Automatic

Exhibit 1:
All city, urban traffic with hills = 24 mpg

Exhibit 2:
Recent road trip, 80% highway at 75 mph, 20% city stop and go traffic = 32 mpg

Looking now at the gov rated fuel economy at 27/34, I guess what I have is normal. They must calculate their city # in a flat city, eh?

I always thought mine was low honestly, but never really cared. I average about 32mpg combined. 08 Sport MT

I usually get 33.4-35.3 combined. Intake helped give me an extra mpg

Looks reasonable, and I'd bet that if you drove a steady 60 or so you'd average (for that steady driving) over 40. It's the stop-and-go that kills mileage.

Here's a link to my Fuelly.com page for my 2008 Fit Sport A/T. My daily work commute is about 39 miles each way. It's pretty much all highway, and I don't hit a lot of traffic in the morning, but sometimes on the way home, I hit a lot of stop-and-go traffic.
