fuse panel

can someone tell me if fuse should be in all the live slots or is it ok if some slots are empty? I drive a 2009 FIT. The only thing not working is my wing mirror adjusters

Chances are good... if there's a live slot, there's a reason why its live. In other words, it most likely is already wired and has a fuse for something around the car.

If you're mirror isn't working, a fuse is blown.

kk thanks. I inserted the fuse but that was not the issue. The wire that connected the mirror adjuster to somewhere (probably the fuse panel or battery) was disconnected. I plugged it in and am good to go now.

Did you buy the car used? Sometimes, a previous owner will do something for some reason or another. They may or may not remember it... or even care.

No fuse and unplugged wire sounds like a previous owner did it. One possible excuse is that they had their mirrors set the way they liked it and didn't want anyone else messing with the angles through the controls.

My favorite tool of choice for getting the little bugger's out is a hemostat clamp. I dropped one once inside the kick panel while using the puller....never again!
