Door seals seem noisy. Suggestions?

The door seals on my car seem to be noisy. I thought the noise was coming from the hatch because one of the rubber 'nubs' that keeps the door steady had fallen out. I replaced that rubber part for a whopping $6 and find that it didn't make an appreciable difference. By noisy I mean I can hear 'squabbling' or muffled rubbery sounds from the rear of the car.

On my previous car I would use a spray silicone on a paper towel and wipe it onto the seals. Is this recommended for the Fit? I've never put anything on the seals and have cleaned the painted body a couple times a year where these seals meat the body.

Use Gummi Pflege on all your rubber seals and that will keep them in excellent shape and quiet. I've used it on all my cars for the past 35 years and there is nothing else like it.

or spray with this stuff. or spray with this stuff.
(3M automotive silicone)

edit: but that's what you said... This stuff is "dry" so you can spray without drips. Plus it's pure silicone so won't degrade rubber seals.

Tried some Gummi Pflege. Unfortunately, it didn't help. After having some of these noises since new I was quite annoyed. Fortunately, I found the issue. It was the rear seats. I had an a-ha moment and decided to try reclining the rear seats to the second, more angled position. No more noise.

Eventually I'll figure out why they make noise when in the normal position. Until that time my rear passengers can just lean back a bit more.
