2010 A/T Transmission Issue?

2010 A/T Transmission Issue?

Coming to a stop the car shakes, at first i believed it to be warped rotors, but the more and more i drive around it feels more like it is having trouble engaging in the lower gears as it downshifts. This usually persists going from 3rd-2nd and 2nd-1st. I know Hondas A/T have a history of not being terribly reliable.

Ive got 57,XXX miles on it, bought new in 2010. Did a drain and fill of the A/T fluid with Honda ATF-DW1 about 10,000 miles ago. (problem existed before the drain and fill)

Question is should I take it to the dealer/shop and get my transmission checked? Do the full round of four drain and fills to get all of the old fluid out and see how it feels after?

You've got 3,000 miles left on your power train warranty, so yes get it checked at Honda.

The reliability issues were centered around v6 Hondas early in the 2000s. I haven't heard anything out of the ordinary otherwise.

Throwing any MIL codes? There is one switch that people have replaced fairly easily. There is a thread on trans low pressure switch.

not sure if we have the same problem, but mine is manual transmission
and dealer fixed it...
