The 2008 Fit - 75k Engine Stutter/Buck Syndrome

I've read through dozens of posts about this syndrome. Sounds like I should switch out the coil pack. In the meantime, "How long is it safe to drive your Fit when it's stuttering and bucking?" The guys at the dealership said it shouldn't be a problem until the check-engine light comes on. I've got to make the long haul from Bangor to Portland, ME (2.25 hours) before I can fix this thing. Am I gonna break down and regret the towing cost and the small town mechanic scratching his head as he explains that he doesn't do work on "foreign" cars?

Any help or advice is greatly appreciated.

Cheers,

Depends on how bad it is. Apparently it's only noticeable at low speeds? I'd drive it home. Watch out for Stephen King.
