Gauge Panel removal question

I just bought a 2013 Fit ge8 I assume.. Im trying to take off the gauge panel so I can paint the 2 chrome rings that are horrible.. Has anyone done this before? I have looked all over this site and can't find a thing. I'm talking about #1 on this link.
Part Detail

If you could post pics, or a link to diy on this issue.. Thanks so much! from a Fit noob..

Here you go Noob. First tip wheel down all the way and pull out towards you then way you go. Once you get the first few clips undone it will likely pull off rather easy if like other panels.

Don't yank too hard though, the mirror control switch needs to be disconnected from the harness before the gauge cover comes completely free.

Yeah, i found the mirror control side was the easiest side to pop, with the small slot for like a screw driver.. the other side by the air controls was a biatch! haha..

Anyone know, when you insert the screwdriver in, does it just go straight in and it releases the clips?

Or does it go straight in, then 'levered?'

Thx

The hardest part is the lower right by the ac controls.. The rest is just popping them out..
