Show Me Your Retrofits!

So I've been looking around and I finally decided to start a retrofit on my headlights. I've searched around and have only found a few pics on here for reference. So if you have them or have done them post some pics!

I'm in the middle of a few projects for the car, so once I have everything together I will be posting pics.

Errrmyygoddd!!! Damn your car looks so sick in the pics! I've always loved your ride with the wheels, but never seen those pics. Nice man!

Quick question what halos do you have on there? I've been looking for some similar to that. Are you using hid's on your fogs?

I got the new led halos offered by the retrofit source, and yes I have 3k hid kit for the fogs ! Was thinking of retrofitting those as well but not sure

Sweet! Couldn't find info on the halos on the retrofit source site? I'll figure something out.

I thought about the fogs too, but I've broken a few already since they're glass. I'd hate to do them only to mess them up by daily driving the car. Plus I figure since the fogs are so low to the ground they might not bother on coming traffic?

Once I get the lights done I'll post up some good pics and figure out what to do with the fogs.

Thank you guys for posting pics and info, you've given me some neat ideas to look into.

I'm pretty sure more people have done this? My search pulled a few people, but didn't see a designated thread for people to show off

Thanks guys. jdmjunkie your fit looks amazing especially with the photo editing. These ls460s took a lot of work to align properly, but I'm just stunned by their output! They pretty much over take all the halogen guys in front of me (without blinding of course). On the freeway, visibility is well into the ditch and easily twice as far out front as before.

The halos are definitely a head turner, and they're pretty damn bright even during the day.

You could try searching on google for Honda fit retrofits to get more ideas. Someone put q45 projectors in their fit and it looks insane. Keep in mind those arent bi-xenons.

Btw I also have 3000k fogs, and I protected them with double layered 3m film. Haven't gotten a crack yet, and my city is pretty much a wet sandbox during the winter.

I like this style a lot,

I think this is a similar shroud to the one JDMJunkie used, right ?
It's an Apollo 2.0 shroud:
http://www.theretrofitsource.com/pro...ducts_id=25797

but I prefer where the Halo LED is amber and the shroud is painted dark chrome :

Oh,

I also wander,
if we put retrofit an LS460 projector or the Acura TL Projector,
that mean we will have to cut the factory bowl reflector right?
and then glue the LS460 projector/Acura TL Projector (and it's shroud if needed)
on to the factory bowl reflector right?

but isn't the factory bowl reflector is made of thin plastic material,
and isn't the weight of the new retrofitted LS460 projector/Acura TL projector is much heavier than the original H4 bulb that we replaced?

will the factory bowl reflector hold up and NOT cracked if we used this car daily (due to vibration/shock and heat)?

I just worry that after spending thousands of dollars, then just after 1 year of use,
the retrofitted Projector will just fall from it's mounting because the factory bowl reflector cracked...

Have this problem happened to any of you?

Actually no, it's not that thin as u may think. Also the way I've got it done an seen is they use adhesive to connect the retro to the bowl, and the way u would have to cut it would be enough for the projector to fit snug in there. I have had projector for a while and I haven't had any issues (knock in wood). And yea I have the Apollo 2 shrouds. And I was thinking of getting the amber led but just stuck with the white led! But fr my retros that's the retrofit I was shown to get inspired from !

What kind of projector light do you use for your retrofit ?
Is it a morimoto or other projector?

What did theretrofit.com recommend for you for this Apollo 2 shrouds ?

Do you do the retrofit yourself or you had them built it for you?

and how much is the total cost you spend (if you don't mind me asking) ?
and if you had them do it for you, how much is their installation cost?

Thank You
