Looking for instructions for installing OEM rain guards
I have a 2010 Fit Sport and I purchased the OEM rain guards but they didn't come with installation instructions. I apologize if they have already been posted in the forums somewhere but I have had no luck in my search.
Here is the best info. that you will find. Don't do this job on asphalt- the pins will disappear if dropped (park on a plastic tarp if asphalt surface is all you have). Next, attach pins and clips to the plastic pieces before you attach them to the car. Orient the clips to point away from the window frame edges, and position and stick the 3M adhesive strips to the car. Then use needle nose pliers to rotate the clips onto the window frame edges. This makes it easy to get a good grip with the clips, especially at the top front corners.
The video that cjecpa posted is really helpful.
I found installing the brackets first and then lining them up with the visor holes worked great. I then installed the push pins and removed the adhesive tape, pushed them down in place and installed the final brackets in the rear.
This worked very well for me and lined the visors up perfectly.

This it great thanks for posting. Now I just have to find a way to drag my computer out into my driveway.

Looks hard but actually after you do the first side the other takes hardly any time the instructions are not the best.

The first thing I did to mine was time the windows now it's the rain guard (although I've had them since I bought them - they are still sitting in the box). I wish the previous owner bought a hood deflector because it could have used it given the thin layer of paint they sprayed on these cars.
the install is not bad at all. But i notice that those install instructions show each visor having 3 clips per visor and mine have 4 clips per visor. did honda changed this for the newer models? i have a 2011 and purchased my visors from honda.
CollegeHillsHonda.com has all the instructions for a lot of the OEM stuff.
Here's a link if you dont want to drag your PC out. You can print the PDF.
