New Owner from So Cal

hello everyone, I just purchased a 2011 Honda fit sport 5 speed manual. I love the car and have plans to mod it ofcourse. Or else I wouldn't really need to be on this site. my name is Gil and im a car enthusiast. "hello Gil" yes that is why I am here. from what I have seen on this site, the car looks dammm good lowered. so I bought some tein springs for it. eventually I will start doing other little mods. I am from the san Fernando valley in so cal and work at an Acura dealership so I got this car for a steal I thought. I chose the fit because I have a 60lb bull dog that I wouldn't want on that nice supple leather in the Acuras. sooo it goes in the trunk of my fit and my seats are safe. Looking to meet some cool people that are also car enthusiasts that have modded their fit. here is a pic of mine at my job.

update

rolled fenders

You're more than welcome to join us for our first meet in Cerritos on 11/9 if you would like to meet some other Fit owners

ok so springs were put on last Friday, I did my alignment today and I also did a muffler delete mod where I put a straight pipe with new exhaust tip. sounds awesome and deep. not too loud. my next mod would be an intake either injen or k&n. will update when that is done.

So I just installed some xxr531 on my fit. Used my stock tires. The wheels are 16x8 20 offset. Will post pics when I get off work. I get a little bit of rubbing when I roll over dips or speed bumps. Other than that I'm good. Love the look of the wheels. Currently lowered on tein springs

I don't know man, those size tires with those wheel specs, I'm pretty sure it's going to be more then just a little rubbing.

Are your fenders rolled? If you only rolled the car on the lot you won't get the full experience of that wheel setup. Wait until you hit the streets.

ive been driving around with this set up for a few days now. when i hit dips on the road going over 40mph it will rub, but only when i have a passenger or 2 in the car. it doesnt really rub if im driving alone. i do need my fenders rolled though for coilovers in the future.

I would think some mad front camber is in order to run that setup in the front.

+1 to camber and fender roll, that is pretty aggressive for a Fit

Wheels look nice though, good match to your color
