GE weight distribution

Anyone know what the F:R weight distribution is for an '09? Better yet, anyone corner weight their ride? If not sock, please identify what mods were added before corner weighing.

Thanks.

I don't know the exact numbers, but I believe it's around 60% front, 40% rear.

I think mine was about 61/39 when i corner weighted it. I have the sheet at home. Corner weighted at west end alignment in gardena/torrance in socal.

Weighed right at 2500 lbs without me. Manual 09 with nav. 16x7 ssr competition rims, hks coilovers if those make any big difference in weight.

Thank you both!

@ petawabit– 2500 lbs wet? That’s pretty good! Could you post your sheet when you get a chance? Those mods will have little affect on weight distribution (total weight yes) as they are directly on the corners. I just want to be sure there’s no crazy system in the trunk or engine mods –stuff that’s heavy that might tip the scale.

Has anyone put this car on a diet? Take off another 150-200 lbs would be real nice

Here is a thread that may interest you, definitely worth referencing for weight reduction.

Yeah, 2500lbs wet, maybe half tank of gas? I was surprised to see that this was lighter than my 05 s2000 that has a gutted soft top.

Oh, forgot I also have a recaro SRD seat that definitely loses a little bit of weight as well. I may have the sheet in my car. I'll post it if so. The SSR's probably shave 15-20lbs (made a huge difference with acceleration), seat-maybe 5-10lbs. Aside from that and the coilovers and short shifter, car is essentially stock.

Thanks.

Last time I weighed it was 61.8% front and 52.4% driver side compared to passenger side.

I noticed that before I put subs in the rear of my car the rear end would like to break loose at too low of a speed. I'm sure the box and subs got me a lot closer to 50/50 which I notice made a huge difference in handling every day and an even bigger difference in the snow/rain. I have been running 205/50R16 on my 09 MT Fit Sport since the beginning.

Interesting...

The Fit tank is ~10.6 gallons and gas weighs ~6 lbs a gallon. A half of tank would yield a ~32 lbs weight savings...
