It would seem that globally Honda wires the cars to flash signal lights on lock/unlock all areas (i.e. JDM/euro/aus) except for North America and our cars our wired to flash parking lights for some reason. Why does Honda do this? vs. other manufacturers seem to use signal light flash consistently around the world (i.e. gerrmans, nissan, toyota).

I am thinking of getting a JDM auto fold setup for my GE and it would be nice to see the light flash on the mirror as they auto fold. Overall, I just prefer the signal light flash.

Anyone know if this would be an easy re-wire job? Has anyone done this?

That has always been my pet peeve with Honda/Acura. I'm sure it's easy in a sense. Interested for someone to chime in.
