Ok guys...my s.o. has a non fit, gm car...I know I know...anyways, it needs keyless entry and I'm sure that aftermarket is the way to go. Only problem is...I'm googling and doing some searching and I don't really know what brands are good and/or what a fair price is.

Chances are, I won't be able to install myself...so the local shop will have to do that.
The car already has power locks...so that's on my side.

I have had viper keyless before, but I don't know if it's overpriced, or if other brands have come out since 99 (lol, that's when I had it).

I wouldn't mind it having an alarm either--but it's not absolutely necessary.
Doesn't need 2 way, pager or lcd display, just a simple fob with lock/unlock and maybe an alarm integrated.

Please let me know what you guys think and if you have any info/opinions. All posts are appreciated. Thank you!
