Mugen fogs VS sport fogs
Mugen fogs VS sport fogs
I was just wondering if they were the same before making the swap. I can't tell from pics if they are or aren't. can anyone confirm?
question: can the sport foglight housing/assembly fit into mugen front bumper?

the mugen lip fits right over the sport pre face lift bumper, including the sport foglights.
the downside is that changing the foglight bulbs can no longer be done by simply unscrewing from the front and pulling the housing out, because the mugen lip covers the housing completely except for the lens

2009-2013 Honda Fit Duraflex Type M Front Bumper Cover - 1 Piece :
yeah i figured... do fogs come in like standard size/shape ratios? if it does, would anyone have a clue as to which size/shape fits this bumper?
From what I recall, he either owned, or worked at an autobody shop, and had quite a bit of modifying, etc... to get the bumper to even fit... then if I'm not mistaken he had to do some modifying to the fogs to eventually get his in (I think he used a set off an American model).
Try and pm him, and search his old posts for better details.
I always thought those bumpers were meant to be used with the JDM Mugen Fogs...
Now that's the front I want right there.... I'd love to do that front without the JDM conversion... but the only way is with the replica bumpers (VIS or ED-Duraflex)... which I'm not too happy about (reps)... but all that aside, I don't think I've seen any member install either without some difficulty.
But if I were to do it, I'd have to get the Mugen fogs.
To FitStir: sorry i've been away recently, but i wanted to thank you for the effort in grabbing me this info!! helped a lot! and i will be contacting him soon hoping he'll respond! i took a look at the HID Mugen Foglights too.. they're $750ish USD.. which is pretty ridiculous
I was at a local auto parts and supplies store the other day and I saw generic foglights being sold there that were shaped like the ones you need. You should find out how big the opening is and see if the generic ones will fit.
