Proud new fit owner!!! (",)

Hi fit freak community! We recently just bought a brand new 2013 Honda Fit Sport M/T Milano Red. We couldn't resist it as the dealer gave us a pretty good discount given the 2015 model is coming out soon. They also included some goodies like cargo tray, all season floor mats and zurich paint protection. OTD price we paid is $18,898.

Congrats on the new Fit. One thing you'll like is that you'll get better MPG than what EPA says. I've gotten 40 MPG in '13 Base with 5 MT. Done that twice and also 39 MPG. Soooo nice compared to my poor old truck.

^^^ I sure hope that holds true with our new 13' Fit! That would be amazing.

Original poster: Congrats on the new ride! Get some pics as soon as you can. You can use a free website like Photobucket to upload photos and post the image links directly in your thread.

I sure hope too...Honda has been known for its reliability. I just hope the body can withstand for years to come the snow and salt. I've also created a photo bucket. Lol. Not too techy. I guess i've isolated myself a lil bit. I hope it works.

Here's a couple of photos after her 1st car wash due to snow the other day. http://s843.photobucket.com/user/Der...hdini/profile/.

PS: I tried to attach the url using the image icon but for some reason it didn't work so i just posted the url. Let me know if you guys have another way to do it. Thanks in advance.

Agreed. Yesterday i was on the freeway and i averaged 41.3 mpg on 60mph on 5th gear. My wife has a heavy foot and i guess she drives it like crazy. She only got 30mpg. I told her to ease up on it. Lol.

I'm nearing 4500 miles on my 2013 base 5mt. I have yet to have a tank go below 38MPG, nowadays I'm doing 40MPG on pretty much every fillup. This is 50/50 city/fwy driving in Los Angeles.

I have a '13 Fit Base with 5 M/T. One thing I noticed that if I'm in traffic on the freeway, and it slows down to around 45 MPH, I can leave the trans in 5th and accelerate back up to 65 with little problem. I was surprised by that, noticed it the first day I had the car. It seems peppy with the 5 speed when driving normally on surface street. I did "nail it" once, 1st & 2nd, and it wasn't much fun - 117 HP is 117 HP..... But it sure feels nice just driving around. Wanna hear something a bit silly? I stood in front of the car when I'd parked at work, and just listened to the little engine purr. Ah yes....

Good to hear that. I'm averaging around 37-39mpg right now as we just got the car and my wife has found it to be fun to drive so she steals it from me when i'm sleeping cause i work graveyard and she works evenings.

Lol...You know what i did that too for 7 days straight i just stood outside the car and looked at it. Same thing when i got inside of my workplace, i glance over it every now and then. Guess i'm just marveled by its beauty.
