trailer hitch wiring
Hi,
I bought a Draw-Tite hitch and a wiring harness from eTrailer. The harness couldn't be much easier to connect up, but I can't figure out how to remove the plastic so I can hide the new wiring beneath it. Please can anyone point me to instructions for same?
I did manage to partially unsnap the piece that fits along the rear (above the jack), but not enough to do me any good, and now I can't get it to snap back down.

Thanks.
I maybe just didn't pull hard enough; didn't want to break it.
How do I remove the inside pieces that cover the tail lights?

Look close there is a little slot on the side. Pry it up a bit to get your fingers underneath then pull.

I'm also trying to thread this connector through the plastic on my 2010 Fit. I got the tail light covers off with no trouble, and managed to get the long plastic piece along the back off and only breaking off one of the white plastic tabs that hold it threre.
Now, how do I thread the wire from the spare tire well up into the tail light area? Even with that long plastic piece off, there doesn't seem to me to be a route with enough wiggle room to wedge the cable connectors under the plastic side panels to get to the tail light assembly.

It's been a while since I installed mine, but I'm remembering that the side panels can be pulled out enough to squeeze a hand in and push the wiring up to the tail light assembly. There are small plastic covers that just pop out that will let you access the plug on the back of the tail lights from inside the car.
