Help me customize my 2011 Fit Sport?

Bought a White 2011 Honda Fit Sport yesterday with 23k miles. The primary driver will my my girlfriend but I'll definitely be taking it as well. I've been doing some research here on the forums as well and just general internet searches.

Goal #1: Take care of the issues that came up from her old car.
This includes the steering wheel that is dirty, sticky, and flaking apart. A steering wheel cover will take care of this. My current plan is to get the OEM one from Amazon for $50. Anyone know of a better cover or a better price? This one seems to fit the fit pretty well. I may do some red stitching instead of the thread provided. Anyone have a preference on which red thread to buy?

Oh yeah, and here is a picture of the Fit with the girlfriend posing (already posted in the "What did you pay?" thread)Name: fxGhpJ9.jpg

The sport wheel is already leather wrapped, why not just use leather cleaner and conditioner regularly?

They just don't work for as long as we plan on keeping the car (200k miles or more).
Rings on your finger, fingernail scratches, smacking her purse against the wheel when getting in and out.... they all add damage that starts to look worse and worse over time.

I know the steering wheel cover is something I'm going to do. I just want to ask the experts here if the OEM one is the best cover to get.

That's called "forward planning", being ready for the inevitable. I'd go with OEM for $50 as long as its genuine leather, not PVC or faux. Don't forget, pix when done.

BTW, thanks for the pic again!!! Tell the GF, islanders don't lie!!!

Done. Ordered the OEM cover. While I was at it I ordered some Weathertech Digital Floor Mats for the front and back. One question... will they come with everything needed to install them? I saw a thread about somehow locking down the driver's side floor mat....

Next I'm researching a sun shade, a replacement arm rest, a cargo tray, and finally some Clazzio seat covers (if Spencer ever PMs me back!).

I'm reading through past threads, but any and all advice about what to get is extremely welcomed!
