AC issue
AC issue
2011 HOnda Fit base auto, 22,000 miles, owned since new with no issues, dealer serviced. New cabin filter, recently
Hot Florida day 90+ degrees lots of sunshine and humidity. 4 adults in car averaging 75MPH across FL. Car is getting warmer inside, check controls and AC is at max, fan is on 4 and inside air is recirculating.
Play with controls, nothing? Turn AC off for a few minutes and turn back on output is noticeable colder? Run a few minutes and air is getting warmer, turn AC off few minutes and back on noticeably colder??
Get to MIami and drive around and AC works fine, have to turn fan down or gets too cold in car. It seems like the fan is running faster on #4 than it was on highway?? Tough call on that one??
Back on highway latter in day, after 5pm, drive across state and no issues? Any thoughts JIm

your evaporator is freezing up (compressor isn't cycling normally). See this thread.
As it freezes less air is able to pass through the fins on the evaporator. Classic.
