Hey guys...I purchased a used 2013 Sport AT a few weeks ago and when I was cleaning it out today, I found this piece located in the compartment where the USB cable is. I searched everywhere in the cabin and couldn't find where it goes:





Can anyone identify this piece? It looks like a rubber plug of some sort. There are no markings on it.

Hard to tell from the photo but it could be a body plug. Are there four of them? They go under the car to cover the bracket where the car's attached to a car-carrier during shipment (I think).


Lot of dealers forget to install them (takes all of ten seconds). They're not particularly necessary but I had my dealer install mine because I figure that it may help aerodynamics a bit and/or keep a bit of dirt out of the hole they cover.

There was only one plug when I found it, but I took a look underneath the car and you were right - there are four total and the one that was missing was at the rear passenger side. Thanks again!

 

the one on the left is a quarter, im pretty sure of it
