switch for mirrors should it have a backlight

Hi all have a jazz si 2013. Interested in finding out shoukd the mirror adjustment button have a back light .illuminate when lights are on ? Is this the case in fit us cars ? Thanks

The switch in certain markets is not back-lit.....whereas the USDM mirror switch is. I have replaced mine as I installed the power folding mirrors, since the JDM Jazz folding mirror switch is not back-lit, I used the JDM CRV switch like many others which is back-lit, its a plug in play substitute so I retained a back-lit switch.

In summary, if your mirrors are not folding you can use the USDM switch, if not they are folding use the JDM CRV switch....
