Check and see if your tires are run-flats. Reinforced sidewalls can make smaller vehicles ride like a dump truck even if your tire pressure is correct.

I ditched the OEM tires at 13,000 for some HanKook tires, OEM sized on the factory sport wheels and it rode like a different car...do you still have the crap OEM tires?

FYI Springs on the 09-13 are the same but the shocks differ on 12-13

Not sure what the car rides like but I live in Cali with some bad roads.

New the car rode ok about what I expect from a short wheelbase light car.

Tein springs on Stock struts rode well not a real noticeable difference over stock.

Tanabe SOC better but a tad rough in washboard but again short wheelbase car with low pro tires.

I commute 75 miles round trip a day and it is comfortable for me.

Just cause I live in a fair weather state doesn't mean we have great maintained roads.

I'm also from California. Can confirm roads are crap.

You can't go more than 20 feet without hitting some slop job asphalt smeared over the road.

I would love for someone to take a drive through West LA or near LAX and tell me how great our roads are

Common misconception just because people think we don't have bad weather but in fact due to how densely populated some areas are the roads take a real beating and I have bent a wheel in the past to show this

To OP, the Fit is a very short wheelbase, it takes some getting used to and weighing it down with a full car makes the ride worse!

Can confirm, I was heading over to Dockweiler a few months ago and can't believe I didn't bend anything

Being from Chicago, we had crap roads there too, but not more or less crappy than some parts of LA. If you want to see nice roads go to Las Vegas.

Imperial Highway which leads to dockweiler is maybe the worst road in California! I bent a wheel in my Z on that road a few years back

Yes, that was exactly it, Imperial. I couldn't believe they let it deteriorate that much, and it actually looked like they tried to patch it at some point and just made it worse.

I did the washer mod to the seat and it helped alot but still not happy with it. I rode in my daughters boyfriends 2012 Civic and it was just as bad. I guess this is the direction Honda has taken with its cars in recent years.

My dad's 2002 Accord always rode decent, but I think our 13 Fit is comparable. I think the seats in the Fit are a lot firmer, but I've always thought the suspension to be firm but supportive. My corolla on the other hand feels squishy, the seats are so broken in and the new KYB assemblies seem to absorb the road in comparison.
