About to move to Georgia in the FIT.....

How is it out there? will the fit's AC keep up? Looking forwards to roads that don't look like a bomb squad testing ground like here in NYC.....

If you don't have your windows tinted... I would do so, these little cars have the whole greenhouse thing going. I have been in St Louis, Vegas and El Paso without too much issues.

I haven't had issues with the AC not being cold enough, just maybe during the mid afternoons. The mornings and evenings are nice and cool, but having good tint will most definitely help!

I would say the roads have actually deteriorated in the last couple of years, been seeing more and more potholes. Our department of transportation is currently in debt I believe and have not been keeping up with road maintenance.

The terrain here is mostly moderate/small hills with some flat areas, so that will affect gas economy depending on how you negotiate those hilly areas especially in conjunction with ac use.

Good luck on your move!

Definitely get some tint. 35 is the legal tint but make sure you spend a little extra for the solar energy block. A/C works great on mine and in South Georgia, roads aren't bad unless they are dirt. Hogwylde, Go Dawgs

thanks!

definately will be getting the car tinted once I get down there....NJ is a bit strict so I won't be getting this done ahead of time.

Ryu: yeah man, pulling the trigger; looking for a change of pace and scenery...
