Hello everyone,
I have a 2010 Honda Fit - Base model, automatic. Since I got it (30k) its had a rattle at 3k. It doesn't do it at higher or lower rpms at all. Any ideas what it could be? Should I be worried at all / what can I do make it go away? I had the valves adjusted about 20k ago, it did seem to get a little quieter but now its as loud as ever.

This was recorded in the passanger seat and it definitely seems louder then recording shows.

kind of hard to hear.. when i had my rattle around 3K on my old integra.. it turned out to be the heatshield around the catalytic converter that was loose around the bolts.. and was rattling.. might want to check that out as its pretty common for a rattle at a specific rpm

 

didnt listen to the audio, but as g95 posted, check ur heatshield
