is there an easy way to rewire the car so the accessory plug always stays on?

 

Two ways I can think of. The first would be the easiest and it consists of adding another auxiliary power plug, wiring it to a ground and some fuse that is always "hot" by way of an add-a-circuit. The second way would be a little more labor-intensive as you would have to remove the center console, remove the power plug, snip the power cable and rewire it from the plug to the fusebox using the previously-mentioned add-a-circuit then put everything back together.
