I have never been satisfied with the small armrest attached to the side of the driver’s seat in my slightly used 2013 Honda Fit Sport with Katzkin leather seat covers. This armrest was too short, too low and too narrow. After a year of using my $20 homemade armrest attached to the standard Sports armrest , I finally decided to buy the Honda OEM console part# 08U89-TK6-112. I paid $197 plus tax for the console at the local Honda dealer and paid a retired Honda mechanic $80 to install the console.

where did you get the leather seat covers and how much were they?

 

The car was slightly used and the Katzkin seat covers was installed at the Honda dealer at the request of the first owner of the car. I don't know how much the seat covers cost. When I bought the car, the salesman did not want to talk about the leather seats, I knew leather was N/A on Fits.

 

Nice armrest. My OEM one is ripped up

 

Wonder if this will work in my 2014 Fit base model.
It would be nice to have an armrest in this little beast.

 

I installed the same armrest in my 2010 Fit Base. Directions were good and it only took me about two hours to install.
The armrest, when slid forward, puts my hand right on top of the shifter....Very comfortable!
