Ultra gauge mount
Ultra gauge mount
Planning on ordering one. What kind of mount works well in a Fit to put it where I can see it but not block the view of anything else. I was leaning away from a windshield mount, should I get horizontal or vertical?
Horizontal mount. Put it on top of the steering column, offset to the left so you can still see the trip odometer. You'll be blocking part of the tach, but the lower right of the tach is wasted space anyway- your needle has no cause to go there.
My setup
I have an ultraguage and used the large mount they offer to mount it in the same spot as Ryu....on that small window just after the door.
I mounted it pretty high up there so it wouldn't interfere with a 1 liter water bottle and routed the wire behind the weatherguard and within the plastic shielding on the underside of our dash. This way I can unplug it at night or when I wont be driving for a while.

Fit Charlie Help
Thanks for the help. I will try that.
