Slop in the clutch of an 09 Fit

I'm in the market for a Honda fit. During a test drive today, I noticed that the clutch pedal had a tiny amount of play or slop in it before my foot was met with resistance. I've felt clutches with and without this play and am wondering if this is normal for the Honda fit. Is this an indication of something to come? Or is it normal? As a side note, the car was just serviced by Honda and nothing was mentioned in the report. Thanks!

Some clutches mask the play with a spring on the pedal, some not so much , most clutch pedals have a tiny amount of play to make sure the master cylinder can fully return when you let your foot off.. Shouldn't be much over 1/4 inch or so.. (4mmish)
