Transmission flush

Is it good to have the transmission flushed? Is having one of like the in tune or service places to perform this? Or is it something that you would only trust to a dealer? To me it doesnt seem like it would be one of the dealer only items but alot cheaper to source outside.
Thanks again to all.

NOPE NOPE NOPE NEVER
Use of transmission flushing machines and chemicals is "strongly discouraged" by Honda.
The official approved method for exchanging automatic transmission fluid is multiple drain-and-fills using the correct Honda DW-1 ATF fluid.
This isn't normally really necessary unless someone has seriously neglected services, or the fluid has been contaminated (JizzyLube added the wrong fluid to it?)

Most JizzyLube places and average shops can't afford to use the correct fluids either. Most dealers can't afford not to.

Regular routine maintenance of the fluid would be a single drain-and-fill, which will replace roughly 3 quarts of fluid at a time.

If you can change your own engine oil, you can DIY change the trans fluid too.
