Find Spare (wheel &) Tire for 2011 Fit Sport
New Fit owner, 1st time poster. My 2011 Fit did not have a spare and don't want to get to far from home w/o one.
Manual shows 135/80D15 for my VSA version, but I'd accept the non-VSA 125/70D15 to get me started.
For either tire, can someone tell me what years have the same size donut as 2011? Looking to buy used for under $100.
I've lurked around here for a week now, and must say this is a great forum!

I would not worry about driving without one. Canadian Fits use to come without a spare tire. I assume that is still true. I have a spare here out of a 2011 FIT. I believe it was on the ground once for about 50 miles. Shipping cost might kill you. I am in Indiana near Chicago.
Have you checked any local junk yards? You might also check some of the disassemblers like LKQonline.com . I just looked at LKQ and they had a bunch of them for $55 to $90. Ebay is currently down so I could not check there.

Thanks for the replies; armed w/ specboy's info I found a 2009 "used" donut on eBay for $70FS.
Salvage yards in AZ had very few Fits. LKQonline.com looks interesting, but they came-up empty as as well.

n9cv,
Doooh! Yesterday I selected "spare wheel carrier" when searching LKQ. I see now donuts are under 2nd wheels selection.
I must've waited too long tho; the one available in Phoenix seems to be gone now. But I see what an awesome site LKQ is; and is bookmarked.

n9cv,
In the 5th post I said I found a donut on eBay, which has been shipped.
If that one doesn't fit I will definitely go back to LKQ; maybe if I register on the site I'll have better luck searching. I didn't see a place to put in my zipcode.
Many thanks!

I have been bouncing between 4 different automotive forums and I am in the middle of taking orders for motorhome windshields for a rally next month. I am up to 19 on that. I'm sorry. I did not catch that you had already bought one. It was my mistake.
