I have heard that the US version of the second gen Fit doesn't come with a spare tire. I've also heard that Honda will be keeping the spare for the cars that will go to the US market. Does anybody know for sure?

 

No one is really 100% certain, but we'll know in just a couple months when they are for sale.

 

Apparently either Honda or a tire supplier did investigate replacing the spare with a run-flat tire but the change was cost-prohibitive plus there was the customer belief few Fit owners would pay the high cost to replace those tires And would be upset at having to buy a spare tire and wheel.
