Any tricks for getting a tight drive/serpentine belt on?
I just want to say thanks to the guys in this thread. I was riding the struggle bus replacing the belt on my '10 Fit with an OEM Mitsuboshi belt.
As suggested, I used a strap to hold the wrench on the tensioner real tight while I barred the engine over clock-wise (w/ the battery disconnected) to get the belt over the crank pulley.
Hallelujah.
That was way harder and time consuming than I imagined. Thank you forums!
