Angry Defi 80mm RPM Gauge Problem

Hello : All
I would like ask some question about rpm sensor. Last 2 week ago, i bought Defi 80mm RPM gauge from Thailand (Hunsocar Shop) for my Honda Fit GE8 2009 (AT Transmittion). When i installed this Defi RPM Gauge, i have problem with (orginal)main rpm and defi rpm indicator show not same. I used and connect behind of engine rpm sensor to defi rpm gauge but show not same from real rpm gauges. What problem and how can i fix it same with Orginal (main) RPM and Defi rpm.

Do you also have the Defi ADVANCE control unit? The RPM gauge manual says that it has to be adjusted for cylinder number and response (those parameters are discussed in the ADVANCE control unit manual).

To begin with, these different tachometers will probably not match up exactly. I doubt that Honda made their dashboard mounted tach very accurate, since is there for "show" but no doubt gives you RPM readings within a few % points of the actual RPMs. I'm only assuming that there is some inaccuracy because I have not seen any testing but know for a fact that speedometers vary and especially on motorcycles that seem to add 10% to your speed verse a GPS reading or checking it against a "measured mile" on a highway.

So, you'll have to decide if you want the Defi 80 tach to be accurate or do you want it to match the dashboard unit that might be inaccurate.

You'll have to go back to the Defi manual to see how you can make the adjustments needed to get both gauges to agree.
