About to buy a used Fit, any tips?
I'm about to buy a used 2014 Fit with 7000 km about 4400 miles on it. It's had the airbag inflator recall done. (Yes, in the US, the last model year was '13, but in Canada, it was '14).
Any tips or things to look for would be appreciated.
Thanks.

With only 4,400 miles over 3 yrs period, everything should be good to go. Just drive it and be aware of "feel", "sounds", and "visual" queues to determine what might be an issue if any at this point in its life.
Was this a "grandma" car, only driven on Sundays? Did you check the oil? I'd make sure that there is enough in there and find out when it and the filter were last changed. If the car sat for a year or so, it might be cheap insurance to change everything and document that you used 0W-20 or 5W-20 and a new filter.
What about the engine air filter / cabin air filter. With it sitting that much, the mice might have moved in to the filter areas but the filters can easily be changed out.
If the car sat outside in the same position, maybe the tires are cracking on the sunnyside of the car. Not that it is super dangerous but it would be good to know the condition of the sidewalls for future reference. If the car was garaged, I would think you could get the full life out of the tires if there aren't any flat spots (causing vibration when driven) from basically sitting the last 3 yrs.

What bothers me on very low mileage cars is many times they were wrecked, bought at auction, and rebuilt. Check VERY CLOSELY the history of the vehicle. You have a 4 year old vehicle with 4,400 miles on it. That is 1100 per year. Why so low? 4400 is 3 or 4 months driving around here.

I wondered about it being wrecked too. Check the title to see if it is "Reconstructed", etc. Might be impossible to get it inspected / mandated safety check later on (the seller might have a shady deal with someone to slap a sticker on it this first time). I hear stories about guys buying "reconstructed" motorcycles and they have inspection problems afterwards. That said.......
If it was reconstructed, it sat for basically 3-4 yrs prior to being offered for sale. Seems like a long time for a turn-around.
Maybe it is truly a "grandma" car. My mom sold her 15 yr old car and it only had ~20,000 miles on it (less than 150 miles / yr for the last 8 yrs).
Ask to see the title before you get the wallet out.
