Has anyone driven a 2010 FIT up the AL-CAN HWY? Driven it 2 X in my Corolla wagons but FIT is so low to the ground I am worried about gravel damaging under carriage.

Hi. I did this a few years ago in my 2010 Fit. No problems at all. I didn't notice any issues with gravel hitting my undercarriage. Slow down in the construction areas and you shouldn't have any issues.

Somewhere in Northern BC was the first time I ever had to put the gas pedal down to the floor... but my car was full of stuff and I was trying to find out what the fit could do.

thanks. Did you carry everything in the car. I’m thinking of getting a carrier for the top as I might drive with a big dog, sleep in the car sometimes. (I’m short!)

What are the road surface conditions on the Al-Can? Is it not paved throughout?

I had a set of roof racks to carry my bike. Everything else was in the car. A carrier for the top is a good idea and part of me wishes I had one when I did the drive.

It's paved the whole way. They are doing construction on big stretches so you'll have to drive through long gravel patches. There was nothing that the Fit didn't easily handle when I drove it.
