Is it safe? 90w bulb.

Hi, i would like to ask.

Im planning on changing the headlight bulb to 90w 2600k. I was wondering is it safe for me to replace the 40/55w to 90w?

Do i have to put some relays or additional wires to prevent the stock wires to be melted or get hot easier?

P=I*E solve for amps I=P/E

P=55W
E=12V
I=4.58 amps

P=90W
E=12V
I=7.5 amps

Its going to draw approximately 3 more amps then its suppose to. Can the stock headlight housing handle that? IDK. Stock wiring, what gauge is it? Probably not. Why not just use a 55W bulb?

Are you sure it’s actually 90w bulbs? Maybe it’s 90w for the pair, making it only 45w per bulb.
