Question Hid bulb help!

ok i just switched my hid bulbs back to 6000k bec the lose of light on the 8000k bulbs, i put them on and everything went fine but when i started driving in the dark i notice that the drivers side bulb isnt the same as the right side bulb, it looks like the drivers side bulb is a 4300k bulb but i know it isnt bec i had the 6000k in there from before, now what does it mean that the bulb starts to change colors? ballest? connection? bulb? when i put the headlight lamp back in it was snug next to the bulb wires that connects to the ballest, maybe they got pinched or something, has anyone had this happen before? please i need some help!

it happens sometimes on the aftermarket bulbs that's why it's a gamble buying an aftermarket ones sometimes you get the bad ones or don't last that long. there is nothing to do with wires being pinched or even the ballast it does not cause the bulb the give out uneven output or color it's the bulb IMO.

Try to switch the driver's side bulb with the passenger side bulb and see if the problem persists. If so, then it's probably not your bulb.

ok sounds good, i mean bec the ballest worked fine when i had the 6000k's from before and when i had the 8000k's in there also, so i think its no the ballests, ill try switchin them and seeing if they work, if not than im gunna just have to stick with teh 8000k until they send me some new 6000k's

ya bec i would think that if it was the ballest than the bulb wouldnt work at all, the bulb itself would be the only thing i can think would be the reason why it would change color.
