2008 Sport Won’t Turn Over
My 2008 Honda Fit Sport won’t turn over. The starter spins, the battery is good, the coils and spark plugs were replaced at the onset of this issue, and there’s no visible damage to the engine. The engine will only spark once every 4-6 spins of the starter, inconsistently, and only in one cylinder, even with replaced plugs/coils. That spark will fully fire that cylinder, but it is not enough to turn the engine over. Since the fit has a timing chain, that does not seem like it would be the issue. This car, however, has read a cylinder 4 misfire recently, multiple times, as in, it will pop up and go away after two days or so, but it’s never been an issue before. There hasn’t been any progression of issues, and I take good care of it, and one night it just wouldn't start. Does anyone have any ideas?

Figured it out. I dropped the key and it lost its crypto signal thing on the pavement (or it broke) when the fob exploded on asphalt. The green light on the bottom left of the dash was blinking still with my broken key and so I used my spare and everything worked fine. Yeah. I’m stupid lol. I did change spark plugs, coils, and tune the valve covers AND inspect all fuel, air, and electrical systems so it’s all good lol
