2nd Generation GE8 Specific DIY: Repair & Maintenance Sub-ForumThreads discussing repairs and maintenance you can do yourself on the 2nd generation Honda Fit (GE8)
I've got a 2013 Fit Base with the 5sp Auto
overall, I enjoy driving it, but it'd be nice to have a little more passing power on the highway (maybe a 25-35hp shot)
I was looking at my 3 20lb bottles in my shed, thinking this could help
I was curious if anyone around here was running the "Gap Juice" on a little honda.
and if there were any tips for me
btw,
I'm not new to the bottle, I've probably run about 400-500# (20-30 bottles) thru my 2005 GTO
you sound like someone who doesnt know anything about nitrous
most stock engines (and fuel systems) can handle up to 50% more power
thanks for the help
These Honda engines can NOT take 50% in a power increase and be reliable at the same time. You clearly don't know much if you asking the Fit forum if using NOS is an acceptable practice for passing other cars on the highway. The joke is on you sir. lol
ive never run a dry or small HP nitrous kit
I know how it works and about running safety’s
just curious about other fit owner’s experience
Dry kits are absolute garbage. And are for sure not controlled very well for long lasting results. Even if you were to go this route a wet kit with some other engine mods would be your only answer. You can't just toss a dry kit on a small stock engine and make flawless HP. Everyone that modifies cars know this.
